ARBOR HILLS

Tucked away in the south central corner of Madison, Arbor Hills is named for its abundant foilage and hilly terrain. At one time this was a parade area, with many custom homes featuring unique floor plans and fixtures. Blessed with three parks - a nature conservancy, a city park with picnic area and playground, as well as a greenway - and adjacent to the UW Arboretum, it is hard to believe you are still in the city when you are in Arbor Hills.
The Arbor Hills Neighborhood Association is voluntary, but sponsors neighborhood events for adults and children, publishes a directory, and links city planners and alderpersons to the interested citizens of the neighborhood. You may come as a stranger, but if you don't make friends quickly, it will be your own fault!
ARBOR GATE
The latest project for the neighborhood is an exciting reconfiguration of the northern boundary at the Beltline. Arbor Gate will transform the shopping and office space for the entire area, and is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Tenants have begun to occupy the premises as of 2009.
