Janet Johnson is one of the most dedicated and committed real estate agents you will find. She and her husband, Andrew, have two grown sons and two granddaughters.
Janet has a BA from Texas Christian University in Math and French, an MS from the University of Alberta in Computing Science/Artificial Intelligence, and an MBA from Edgewood College. Prior to Real Estate she had 25 years of experience in project and business management. In 2002, Janet began her Real Estate practice and has been working in that field full-time ever since. In 2003 she placed her license with Keller Williams, understanding that she owns a business and is not just a salesperson. Janet is licensed in Tennessee and Georgia and a member of the association of Realtors.
Janet believes in continuous improvement, and thus is learning-based. She is a Certified Residential Specialist, which places her in the top 4% of her profession and consistently taking classes to improve the service she can provide to her clients. She also is involved in her office, having served 14 years on the Agent Leadership Council including chair of the Finance and Growth Committee and the Technology Committee, and 5 years as onsite broker to review agent contracts and provide resolution of legal issues.
Giving back to the community is a value Janet shares with many. In the Real Estate community she has served on the MLS committee, professional standards committee, and orientation committee. She has been block captain and served on her neighborhood association Board of Directors, is active in Rotary Club, sings in her Church choir, and has served as her Church's Moderator, chairperson of the trustees, and treasurer. She enjoys golf, downhill skiing, music, and being outdoors as much as possible.
